I’m a User Experience (UX) designer, artist, and all around creative who loves to make beautiful things. What I really enjoy is making the complex simple so that average folks like myself can understand it and put it to good use. No one wants to spend time trying to decipher a complicated application to get something done, they just want to get it done, and the best technology in the world isn’t going to help them do that if they can’t use it.

That means good design is important to every application and for me, the best design is invisible to the user. Because, let’s face it, a slick design isn’t helpful if you don’t know what the next step is. A great UX should support the experience and the only way to do that is to understand what your audience is trying to do. Once you understand your user, then you can create an experience that helps them accomplish their goal.

So, if you need help getting people to find your awesome technology, drop me a line. I’d love to help!

About me

I was born in a one room shack in Tupalo, Mississippi …. ok, ok, I wasn’t. But Elvis was and I’ve always wanted to start a bio that way. In truth, I was born in Rochester, New York and I now call Boston my home. In case you haven’t figured out who I am yet, I’m Lorena.
